The Celtic Discovery Performing Troupe is a talented group of young musicians and Irish dancers who are "raising the bar" in Celtic entertainment throughout the Maritimes. The troupe is based in Fredericton New Brunswick. http://www.fredericton.ca
The 2010 - 2011 Troupe is now working on a new show. They will be performing throughout the Maritimes leading up to a trip to the Lorient Inter-Celtic Festival in August 2011. This is the largest Celtic Festival in Europe is held in Lorient, France for ten days from the first Friday to the second Sunday in August. It attracts representatives from all seven Celtic "countries" (Asturias and Galicia in Spain, Cornwall, Wales and Scotland, Ireland and Brittany). http://www.france-for-visitors.com/brittany/south/interceltic-festival.html

In August 2008 the troupe travelled to Cape Breton to perform and study.
